Meet The Committee

This week in Meet The Committee, you will be introduced to Danny Vu, our Club Treasurer for 2022-2023.

Hey <<First Name>>,
I’m Danny and currently enrolling as a 1st year student studying Bachelor of Commerce and IT, planning to major in finance and computer network security. At this stage of my journey, I just enjoy mowing lawns for my age care clients and balancing myself on corrugated rooftops for some effective gutter cleaning sessions. These jobs may seem to be the complete opposite of IT, but I hope it can help me to develop essential skills before entering the tech industry.
Danny and his old buddy

During my spare time, I enjoy helping around my house with cleaning and repair things if needed. Besides that, I usually play Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) and table tennis with my mates to divert myself away from Uni studies. I usually do food hunting around Melbourne and love trying out cuisines from different countries and culture. To the left is an image of me as a kid after a table tennis session with my friend.

I enjoy meeting new people not just within campus but also externally so hopefully be able to create new friendships with you.
