On August 1, we hosted our 2nd Annual Chilltown Literary Festival along with FJB Comics. Pictured above is our YA panel with moderator Kate Scelsa, Sona Charaipotra, Daniel Jose Older, and Evan Roskos.

The summer is drawing to a close. The kids are heading back to school. The air is crisp. And here at WORD Jersey City, we’ve put together a slate of events to ease the transition into fall. Kids can learn to love their bodies and sing their love for music class. You can find us out on the street for the annual All About Downtown Street Fair come mid-September. For those with slightly more morbid interests, we are so happy to present Cristin Aptowicz and her book on the medical collection of Dr. Mütter.
And, as always, if you'd like to get reminders via text you can join our "events class" at You'll get one (at most, sometimes less) hand-crafted text a day with event information, through the magic of technology!
