Award-winning author Peter Brown chatted with fans after the storytime for
My Teacher Is a Monster! (No, I Am Not.)

We’re keeping up the literary community love in August. Kids can come by our Find Waldo! (August 9) and Summer Reading (August 24) parties; teens and teens-at-heart can celebrate YA literature with us in honor of the movie release of If I Stay (August 21), and participate in a bookish Show & Tell sponsored by Coverspy (August 13); and that’s just to name a few. Come on by, meet some fellow book lovers, and say hey.

And! If you'd like to get reminders via text, you can now join our "events class" at You'll get (at most, and sometimes less) one hand-crafted text a day with event information. Who needs a calendar?
