Have you ever wondered what animal makes the noises that you hear in the woods, at night or during the day? Have you ever taken your family out into natures family room? Looking for something different to do on a Saturday?  

Look no further. The Forest History Center is a wondrous place with forests, grasslands, and wetlands that abound with wildlife.  At the Forest History Center you will learn many interesting facts, and get introduced to something new. At the Forest History Center you will learn about science, math, history and art.  

The Forest History Center staff have put together a robust educational series that is for children and adults.  They have everything from Critter Days to Dinner with Will Steger.  There is a program that will appeal to everyone, young and old.  You can check out the Forest History Center Facebook page for more information, and a complete list of all programs.

Fall Golf in Minnesota's Nature

Fall has arrived in northern Minnesota.  If golf is your thing, then you need to come experience golfing in Minnesota's nature this fall.  The greens are in very good condition and the beautiful foliage is simple stunning.

The Grand Rapids, MN area has three championship courses within 20 minutes from each other.  There is Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Coleraine, Pokegama Golf Course in Grand Rapids, and Sugar Brooke Golf Course in Cohasset at Sugar Lake Lodge.
