A place to connect online
Fellow Pub Theologians,
Many of you have been leading conversations at the pub for some time, or are on the cusp of starting a new group. We've connected via my Pub Theologian blog or in some other fashion.
I wanted to share the exciting news that I've been developing a new site which aims to be a hub for people to connect, share ideas, find resources, engage in conversations and find out about groups meeting near them: PUBTHEOLOGY.COM.
The Pub Theology Official Directory that has been on pubtheologian.com will now also be featured at pubtheology.com. The newly redesigned directory utilizes Google Maps to present a nice visual in a simple way for people to search and learn about your group. A premium listing now has a small fee (less than $1/month), simply because of the amount of work it takes to keep it current. There is still a free basic listing option. Check out the new look and see if your group is already listed. There are now more options to help get the word out about your group!
I am currently offering a special in which all paid listings before March 30 receive a free one year subscription to the Pub Theology Discussion Topics weekly newsletter. Here you'll receive timely discussion topics based on current events, as well as timeless theological and philosophical questions. This is a $10 value you'll get for free if you register by March 30!
I am excited about this new site, and it is only in the beginning stages. Help get the word out! Feel free to forward/tweet/share with anyone who might be interested.
Your fellow pub theologian,
P.S. Did I mention Pub Theology is going to be featured on PBS? This weekend PBS Religion and Ethics Newsweekly is going to be showing footage of a recent Pub Theology DC gathering and an interview with me about exploring faith at the bar. Check local listings for when it will be airing near you!
