Whether you've done the race 10+ times or if this if your first time doing the rally: you won't want to miss out on this very special event. Join us on Monday 21st September, at 7pm at RNZYS, for the PIC Coastal Classic Great Advice Night.

Due to physical distancing requirements at the venue while we are in Covid Alert Level 2.5, this event is seated and strictly limited to the first 70 people who RSVP HERE

With thanks to our principal partner PIC Insurance Brokers and  Doyle Sails, we've assembled an expert panel including 10x PIC Coastal Classic winner Simon Hull (8x with trimaran Frank Racing and 2x with TP52 V5), Emma Sanderson, champion of round-the-world single-handed sailing and advocate for women in the sport, and Brad Marsh, Ocean Race winner onboard Groupama. More recently and closer to home, Brad won the Y88 Solo Championship and Doyle Sails SSANZ Mixed Two Person series.

Our new Race Director, Megan Kensington, and Daniel Garner of PIC Insurance Brokers will also be available for race rule and insurance specific questions.

Thanks to 36 Degrees Brokers your first drink of the night is complimentary, and we have plenty of prizes on offer including bar tabs for The Duke Tavern in Russell. So, bring your questions and prepare for some trivia about the race's history!

THE PRIZE TABLE IS FILLING UP!

We are pleased to announce that some of our most long-standing partners are back on board to give you some prizes worth of racing for. Here's just some of what will be on the prize table in Russell:

B&G -  Year after year, B&G continues to give us their very best. We are very happy to announce that one of the divisional prizes will be the brand new Zeus3s 9 inch MFD.  Designed just for sailing, the new Zeus³S chartplotters offer super-fast response times, providing all the information you need, when you need it.

These easy to use displays come with B&G's unique sailing features and make it simple to navigate, plot routes, add waypoints and see all the key sailing or racing information at the touch of a button, or the screen. This retails for $4099 - how lucky are we - or how lucky are YOU?!

Mount Gay Rum has been produced on Barbados with passion and excellence since 1703 - making it the world’s oldest rum brand.  For over three centuries, Mount Gay Rum has been intimately linked to the sailing world.

From 17th century navigation to present-day regattas, Mount Gay is for all those who love the sea. Mount Gay has recently undergone a new look with new labelling for the Eclipse (Gold ) “Heritage Blend” and a new blend for Mount Gay Black Barrel and Mount Gay XO.

Zhik continues to create NZ's most stylish sailing apparel, and whether pushing the boundaries on the forefront of innovation, defying expectations in design and technology in water sport apparel or kicking back after the race and watching the sunset, they are never far from the water. Zhik challenge the status quo, identify problems, and finds breakthrough solutions to continually set the benchmark. Tested and proven, Zhik gear is the choice of Olympic and world champions around the globe, and we are thrilled to announce that they will again provide over $2000 in vouchers for you in the PIC Coastal Classic. Plus, how nice is this years' limited edition merchandise?
