I'd like to mention a new White Paper I have authored and which GEC Risk has jointly published with Hiperos on "Making the Business Case for Managing Strategic Third Party Risk". We think this piece adds a strong and needed new lens on the discussion of third party risk which we hadn't seen before: understanding when such a risk becomes a strategic topic for the C-Suite and the Board.
We had a third successful Latin America-based cohort of cross-industry professionals attend the ECI (formerly ECOA) and IAE Business School ethics & compliance LPEC certification course last week in Buenos Aires, Argentina (I was barely able to get out because of volcanic ash related flight cancellations).
May and June are repleat with interesting events (see sidebar) including in Seoul, Korea and the Third Latin America Ethics Summit this year taking place in the hardship destination of Rio de Janeiro.
