Happy beginning of May! I will be brief as I am in the throes of turning my final 500+ page manuscript of Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience and Value in to my publisher Routledge this coming week. I am excited and grateful to share that Amedee Prouvost, Head of Operational Risk, and Jorge Dajani, Chief Ethics Officer, of the World Bank, have agreed to co-write the Foreword to my book. The book will be out in September but I will be sharing a snippet, excerpt or chart from it as we get closer. See below for the first snippet - an overview of Chapter 1 - Gloom: The Ten Megatrends of Our Turbulent Times. Also below is the first official flyer for the book (with a 20% discount code for pre-orders).
Otherwise, they're keeping me out of trouble with several speaking engagements coming up in May and June:
Risk-in 2019 in Basel, Switzerland, May 16-17, 2019, teaming up with strategic partner RepRisk's CEO, Philipp Aeby to discuss cases from the book using RepRisk data and participating in a plenary panel on enterprise risk.
ComplianceWeek in Washington DC, May 22, 2019 where I will discuss the convergence of ESG and ethics and compliance with colleagues Alison Taylor and Ben DiPietro.
