Transforming Technology Risk into Value in Tumultuous Times

Dear Friends,

In two weeks I will be speaking at the NACD's Technology Symposium in Silicon Valley on July 10-11 providing the governance, policy, risk and ethics perspective for boards on the technological disruption overtaking every kind of business from AI, virtual reality and wearables to robotics, the Internet of Things and data analytics.

In this issue of GEC Risk News, you will find links to an interview I gave to El Nuevo Dia of Puerto Rico (in English and Spanish) discussing my new role as Independent Ethics Advisor to the Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico. Also below is a recent piece for Directorship Magazine my good friend Jeff Hoffmann and I collaborated on titled Seeing Opportunity in Reputation Risk, which the NACD has been heavily promoting in social media and of which we are very proud to be the authors.

I am honored to be the opening keynote speaker at the Sixth Annual SUMARSE Panama Summit taking place in late August in Panama City where I will also conduct an ethics, risk and crisis workshop with local and regional businesses.
