About the Presentation:
Technology for taking pictures with passive Millimeter-Wave (MMW) imaging systems is improving rapidly. Cameras can be made smaller, less expensively and using passive technology (no active illumination) for many defense/security applications. Mr. Dryden will give an overview of MMW technology and of Northrop Grumman's enabling high-speed transistor technology that set Guinness World Records in 2009 and 2014. Mr. Audette will showcase a number of MMW photos and videos displaying how the technology can address real-world security problems.
