A Tree-tastic Year!

With Fall wrapping up and winter right around the corner we at the Sugar Pine Foundation would like to give BIG thanks to all the AMAZING volunteers and contributors. All your help has allowed 4,230 trees to be planted this fall, giving us a total of 10,330 trees this year!  Congratulations!  We are not done for the year so our numbers are looking to grow.  We have two more opportunities for you to join us in planting a tree too!

November 2nd 9:30-11am - Lake Tahoe Environmental Science Magnet School
November 3rd 9-11am - Waddle ranch planting with Scouts of America

7 Endangered trees with amazing stories

Sit back and enjoy a quick read about some fascinating trees that can make everything from fiery red dyes to a variety of life-saving medicines. Each one of the trees has a different background and story.  We can learn a lot from nature.

Tis the Season!
