A note from the Executive Director

We recently gifted our millionth dollar into our community as we kicked off our partnership with CASA. We are just scratching the surface when it comes to social issues and areas of need in our community and we will continue to invest in organizations who are servicing those needs. Remember every $1 you invest in must! goes right back into our community, because our Executive Board covers the General Overhead Expenses.  We're so honored to have you partner with us both financially and by sharing the story of must! charities  with others. Not a partner yet? We'd love for you to join us, give a gift online and then sit back and watch what transformation can occur in our communities as we collectively invest it. Just click here.
Warm Regards,
Becky

Project Update:
Big Brothers Big Sisters

In 2015, we completed our first year with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Project.  As a result of your support and the hard work and dedication of the staff at BBBS, we are thrilled to report the following:

51 new BIGS called to inquire (vs 21 in 2014)
41 new BIGS followed through with interviews (vs 7 in 2014)
31 new matches made (vs 7 in 2014)

The new Outreach Coordinator plans to participate in 5-8 outreach events per month in the North County to encourage more participation in the program. In 2016, we still have a need for mentors as well as Big Brother Big Sister Board Members. Read more.

Project Update: Boys & Girls Club Summer Expansion

When we took on our original Boys & Girls Club project, one of our goals was to see more services provided to more kids in the north county.  I am excited to say that the Boys & Girls Club was a success in expanding into Atascadero over the summer!  We just finished our 2 year partnership with Boys & Girls Club and watched it grow from 45 kids to over 120 kids this past summer. The need is still out there... and we are excited as we are about to make our first gift installment in a 3 year partnership/match with Atascadero Kiwanis Club. These funds will go toward a year round program in Atascadero (the details of what this program will look like are in the works). This will be our 3rd project with Boys & Girls Club, and we are happy to see more youth being served in our north county communities. The Golf Tournament benefitting must! charities - May 19

It's back!! The Treana Golf Tournament is back to kick-off Paso Robles Wine Festival Weekend! The Treana Golf Tournament is an opportunity to enjoy a fun afternoon at the beautiful Paso Robles Golf Club. The Tournament will be a 4-player scramble format, with prizes for First, Most Mediocre and Last. No need to register a handicap for this one, especially when Paso Robles' own TROUBLEMAKER, Austin Hope is in charge of the on-course shenanigans! This is one tournament you won't want to miss, so be sure to register soon, as last year's event was a sell-out!
