A note from the Executive Director
Recently, our projects at must! have been taking off. It is an honor and privilege to share all the good news and positive results transpiring in our community. I would also like to personally invite each of you to drop by for our "open house" this week (May 5-9th) in our Templeton office. Stop by for a visit, bring a friend or two, and learn about our mission, our project updates, and ways to get involved. Remember every $1 you invest in must! goes right back into our community, because our Executive Board covers the General Overhead Expenses. We're so honored to have you partner with us both financially and by sharing the story of must! charities with others. Not a partner yet? We'd love for you to join us, and we'll make it easy for you to give a gift online. Just click here.
Warm Regards,
Becky

Project Update:
Real Food for Real Children
In 2012 The Food Bank Coalition piloted the Summer Lunch Program. That year there were three sites in the North County. In 2013 must! charities got involved, because we saw the need to expand this program to service more kids who needed it, more sites were added bringing the North County total up to eleven. As we roll into 2014, I am honored to let you know that this program will have 20 potential sites in the North County! These new sites include outreach into communities, like Shandon and Creston, that were not served this program last year! Another great update: the incredible staff at the Food Bank was able to negotiate significantly lower food prices with the Paso Robles School District's Nutrition Services Director without compromising our high nutrition standards, which will aid in the program's overall sustainability plan.
