Winter Basketball League Grades K-4
It is with great excitement we are able to introduce our Winter Basketball League here at Nova Classical. The K-1 and 2-4 Winter Basketball Leagues are a great way to get young players to grow their skills and the love of the game. Our K-1 and 2-4 leagues are modeled after other elementary aged leagues that have been very successful other places. The league will be a 3 on 3 league with 4 players to a team (to maximize playing time). Athletes will get 35 minutes of skill instruction and 40 minutes of 3 on 3 league play every session. The emphasis here is on learning the game, learning the skills to be successful, and learning to love the game. Whether you have experience or not, we will work with you to provide a quality experience. The leagues will be directed by John Carrier, our head boys basketball coach at Nova and run by parent volunteers.

Please contact John Carrier at if you are interested in volunteering.

All volunteers must have a current background check on file with the school. Volunteer Application (Background Check)
Nova Debate State Tournament Update
The Nova Debate Team has recently completed the Debate State Tournament and is pleased to announce that everyone performed amazingly and Dora Vecoli and Thomas Holliday partnered to qualify for and participate in the first round of the finals.

They did not progress further but in a 150 plus team tournament that was an awesome performance!

The topic for the tournament was whether the benefits of the US regulating cryptocurrency would outweigh the harms, a fun and challenging topic.
