This webinar features the Seneca Family of Agencies, Youth Development Institute, and youth from their advisory councils.

Intended Audience: Residential Program executive and program leaders, clinical staff, and lead direct-care staff; state oversight agency leaders and staff; family and youth peer mentors/advocates; family members and older youth.

Overview: The webinar presentation and follow-up question and answer session are intended to support the use of residential strategies that strengthen youth engagement and partnerships in developing a strong youth advisory council. In this webinar, Sherri Hammack, the Coordinator for BBI, will provide a short overview of the BBI framework for youth-guided care practices with residential interventions. The webinar features the Executive Director of the San Francisco and Santa Clara Seneca Family of Agencies and a youth from their advisory council and David Cocoros, the Co-Executive Director of Youth Development Institute in Arizona and youth from their advisory council. Strategies will also address the importance of engaging young people and the commitment from leadership toward the development and operation of a youth council.
