We're not quite in Hollywood though Hollywood adjacent... 
Dear Friends of Fianco a Fianco,

Greetings from Los Angeles! It’s been a long time since you’ve heard from me, but I wanted to update you as we head into the holiday menu and gift season.

As you know, Fianco a Fianco was conceived in Italy, blossomed in Texas, and clung to life support in New Jersey. I regret to inform you that after a difficult and drawn out decision-making process, FaF has been put to rest in California.

I ran the numbers every which way and considered various business configurations, but, unfortunately, continuing to make sweet-savory cheese cookies on a grand scale just doesn’t make financial sense (particularly when you've seen your living expenses double—everything is bigger in Texas except the bills!).

Over the last six months I have been rediscovering the joy of the home kitchen and experimenting with new recipes for my family, something I didn’t have a lot of energy for while baking dozens of the same item over and over again. As long as I love to eat, I will be whipping up new creations, and I suspect that my professional life will never be far from food, though it may veer more toward food justice and the eradication of hunger as I refocus on nonprofit sector work.

So grazie one last time for your support over the years whether a customer or fan near or far. Thank you for allowing me to spend the better part of three years concocting and hawking my crazy cheese biscottini. Perhaps they will rise again in another time of life or in a different form…
