Potential failure of 1526 and 1527 A-V Customer Stations
Power failure possible in A-V Customer Stations due to a faulty diode on the thermostat circuit board.
Models Affected:
1526V, 1527V, 1526AV, 1527AV, 1526VB, 1527VB, 1526AVB, 1527AVB
With the onset of winter weather, we’ve had reports of a few failures of 1526 & 1527 units installed in colder regions when the thermostat circuit turns on the heater for the video display.  The symptom is easy to identify since power to the unit is lost due to a diode failure on the thermostat control circuit board.
If you have experienced this problem, it can be easily corrected with a circuit board exchange in the field (PN 821-5710 Thermostat Control Board). Detailed instructions are included with the replacement part.
