Get Your Refund Tulsa
VITA Tax Season is well underway, and we're excited to report that so far this season we have helped 699 households receive $2,086,591! As the April 18th tax deadline quickly approaches, we still need your help spreading the news about about our free tax filing services. Taxpayers can file online or in person at one of our 6 locations throughout the city. We're also extremely pleased to announce that, thanks to the recruiting help of Uma Tulsa
, we are now offering filing assistance for Spanish speakers 3 days a week at Martin Regional Library. Locations, hours, and more information on our services are below. Click here

As a result of our partnership with BEST, we were able to provide greater access to free government services like SoonerCare, SNAP food benefits, and the ACA Marketplace as well as referrals to other community resources in Tulsa. Our continued efforts to expand SoonerCare throughout our state have resulted in the enrollment of more than 500 new participants who have access to health insurance that covers most if not all of their medical expenses. Without our partnerships with BEST, the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority (OHCA), OK Human Services, Hunger Free Oklahoma, and others, we would not be able to help as many individuals and families as we do.
This team is also out in the community sharing information about our services. You'll see us at food distribution events like Catholic Charities, Common Ground Church, Food on the Move, and La Cosecha. We also attend special partner events, like the Oklahoma Works/American Job Center Hiring Event, the BeHeard Movement, and the OSU Institute of Technology Career Fair.
Emergency Rental Assistance
Our newest project is our partnership with Restore Hope Ministries, another local nonprofit. Restore Hope, along with the City of Tulsa, Tulsa County, and the State of Oklahoma are tasked with the responsibility of distributing emergency funds to residents in need of rental and utility assistance. To date, they have successfully distributed over $27M in assistance to more than 6,000 households by partnering with 3,050 landlords and utility companies. Helping Tulsans receive this assistance is perhaps the most urgent and rewarding project we've had the honor of working on and we are grateful to Restore Hope Ministries for this opportunity.
