The Common Good is excited to invite families of all sizes to its North Pole event this Thursday, December 2nd from 5-7pm! The event will feature hot chocolate, holiday-themed crafts, and photo opportunities with Santa and his reindeer! This event is for members of the Charles Page Neighborhood and surrounding communities and will take place at Common Good's community center, The Hub.

The Common Good exists to partner with the Charles Page neighborhood through advocacy and programming in education, sports & arts, job training, and mental health. Share the attached flyer with anyone in your community who may be interested in coming to the "North Pole"! No RSVP needed.

It's not too early to be thinking about taxes! Please help your communities make a plan to file their taxes and let them know there's a high-quality option that's free for certain households, thanks to Goodwill VITA and Tulsa Responds!

Goodwill’s VITA program provides free income tax preparation for low and moderate-income households. We expect the income limit to be $58,000 for 2021. IRS-certified preparers will prepare, review and efile both state and federal tax returns. Some types of income and depreciation are out of scope for this service. Both in-person and virtual services will be available, and for the first time in the program's existence, filers will be able to make appointments rather than first come, first served.
