Synergetica Lab celebrates the first human in space!

53 years ago on April 12th, for the very first time a human being, Yuri Gagarin, ascended into outer space.  After nearly 2 hours in orbit, Gagarin returned to Earth, spellbound by the unsurpassable, fragile beauty of his glowing home. Synergetica will celebrate this pivotal cosmonautic leap with an evening devoted to Soviet space exploration and the quest for weightlessness.

19:00 doors open
19:30 Soviet vinyl relics and excerpts from flexi-record magazine KRUGOZOR (КРУГОЗОР)
20:00 screening of Soviet Space Age short films
20:45 space toast
21:00 live performances by OMFO, Fay Lovsky, Dmitry Gelfand, Evelina Domnitch, Vlad Grafov, Ksenia Pankratova and Edwin van der Heide.
22:30 more vinyl nectar by OMFO

OMFO (Our Man from Odessa) will unravel rare vinyl treasures from the birth of the space age: from masterpieces of the ANS synthesizer to “Krugozor” flexi-records. He will then join musical forces with post-soviet sputniks, Evelina Domnitch (theremin) and Dmitry Gelfand (winds), and with special starry guests, Fay Lovsky (saw, theremin) and Edwin van Der Heide (electronics). Throughout the evening, our retinas will be saturated by cosmonautic mirages and light sculptures unleashed by Vladimir Grafov and Xenia Pankratova.
