AFSCME 43RD NATIONAL convention in Boston was an inspiring and informative time with comrades. Here is a cool video of what it was like. Important resolutions were passed around issues such as healthcare, immigration, and trans rights. Inspiring speeches from the Boston Mayor, NJ Governor (no it’s not Christie anymore), and Elizabeth Warren (what?!) I guess my biggest take away is that even though we’ve had it tough in Wisconsin, workers are fighting (and winning!) all over! Oh, and that pesky Janus case that pretty much made the whole country RTW? Yea, that dude retired in about a week after being offered a job (with a book deal) that he couldn’t refuse. Corporate interest may have the $, but we have the numbers. VOTE August 14th. And in November. And in every election like your livelihood depends on it (hint: it does.)

We have a new website! Click the button below and be sure to bookmark it! Please be patient as I learn how to build it up. I’m not a web designer but if you are, or are tech savvy, I would love some help! The calendar is up and running and if y’all have photos to share, send them my way!
