Sewage Treatment System Inspections Scheduled in Pataskala
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 10/28/16 LICKING COUNTY, OHIO – The Licking County Health Department will be conducting household sewage treatment system inspections on Helen Drive and Christy Lee Drive in Pataskala during the week of November 7, 2016. If necessary, inspections may continue into the following week of November 14.

The inspections are being conducted as required in Ohio’s Sewage Treatment System rule updated in 2015. The inspections will determine if the septic tank and aeration systems that treat the wastewater from homes in the area are operating properly and that they are not creating a health hazard.

The inspections are being conducted by Health Department staff, and all Health Department staff members will be wearing their department issued identification, reflective safety vests or coats, and driving Health Department marked vehicles.

No portion of the inspections will take place inside any of the homes, and homeowners are not required to be home during the inspection, but they may contact the department if they wish to schedule a time to meet the inspector.

If you have any questions about the sewage system inspections, please contact the Health Department at (740) 349-6535.
