3/1/16 LICKING COUNTY, OHIO – The Licking County Health Department has scheduled a ServSafe Food Safety Class and a Level One Certification in Food Protection class in April.
The ServSafe class will last two days and is scheduled for April 11 and 18 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Attendees must attend both sessions and take the required exam to meet the ServSafe certification requirements. This class will meet the Level 2 Certification in Food Protection requirement that took effect on March 1, 2016 for Food Service Operations and Retail Food Establishments. The cost to take the class and the exam is $150.
The Level 1 Certification in Food Protection class is scheduled for April 12 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The class is free and is open to anyone.
Both classes will be held at the Health Department, located at 675 Price Road in Newark.
