No we are not dead!

Yes it's been 8 months since our last update but we are alive and well. The more amazing things we have had to tell you, the less time we have had to tell you about them. Thank you for being faithful in your prayers and giving during this season of our great explosive expansion! Here is a quick catch up on  life and our work in pictures.

The Community centre is going up now!

The long term vision for the base has been that the front of the property is a place of outreach to the local community. We currently have kids work, youth computer classes and  sowing classes taking place there. This has all been taking place from our big, old dusty tent. In our planning we have had a building for these projects as something to be aimed for in a couple of years time. However, God seems to have a faster schedule than us! Sunny side church team came lead by John, who did his DTS with YWAM 15years ago. When he contacted Mike Fred he asked to bring a team and wanting to invest in a community centre. They came and helped prepare the ground for the area and invested the first $6,000 into building the center. Don’t you just love it when you realize that you have been following God’s schedule all along? We now have the building above window level and though we don’t know where the funding will come from in order to finish it, we know that this is a project on God’s heart and he did it before with the prayer house which is finished and he will did it again!

Well Drilling

There has been the worst drought in many years here and we ran out of water, so did the city. After drilling 72m and 68m we have installed a pump in the deepest and have not run out of water since. Praise God! and thanks to all who gave!

Prayer room

At last the prayer room is set up. We have what we call the watch tower upstairs on the mezzanine floor which is a busy interactive space for interceding for the nations. Downstairs we have my favorite area, a clean and uncluttered chamber of intimacy and rest for my soul. God did it!

Want a truck?

We were asked if we want this amazing outreach truck with 12 tents, stoves, chairs & tables all built in. Thanks epic DTS team! It's worth $25,000 but all we need about $10,000 to cover import to Malawi from Zambia when we go to collect it in November. With it we can launch teams into rural un-reached tribes. Help us to import it, this is a great kingdom investment! how to give.

Hope for 1000

It is said millions of people will starve in Malawi this year. YWAM and Crown ministries have identified five needy communities where we are targeting 200 families. Each community sends 4 farmers for 2 weeks intensive training. They go back & train 200 families in how to grow 52 lines of maize at a very high standard. From each line they can harvest 15kg of maize, enough to feed them for a week. Those trained receive seed & Fertilizer packs. They also receive 20kg of high nutritious porridge to provide energy for working.  more info

Just 4 months left to pay base property loan

we have $24,000 still to raise and don't really see how this will happen as we don't have spare money But God said this was the year of Jubilee when debt would be cancelled, if he said it then it will happen. Please pray & give here.
