Loan 100% Paid!
We are so excited to share with you that once again God has done it. With only 3 weeks to go before the loan repayment date was due and £12,000 to go we knew that we would need a miracle and that is exactly what God did. We are in awe of how he has provided through the faithfulness of his people and so grateful for so many stepping out in faith with us to see the loan COMPLETELY REPAID and the property 100% OWNED BY YWAM for future generations! Thank you so much to all who have stood with us, prayed for us, given towards this. We have truly felt the strength of the body of Christ standing with us to see this YWAM property established.

Primary School Chiwaya village
We have started building a Christian Primary School. after spending 2 years making inquiries with land owners, talking with the government, and praying! Then suddenly a piece of land right in the middle of the village became available and a generous sponsor said they would sponsor phase 1, which is 4 classrooms. We feel like we have walked into the manifestation of many old prophetic words: YWAMers in the area prophecied 15+ years ago that there would be a YWAM school in this village (about 1.5 km from our base) and now the building work has begun! The sponsor said they would match fund £1 for every £1 given for phase 2 of the school. We need about £60k for this second phase so if you want to invest in the future of hundreds of children through a christian education let us know more info here.

Canada & USA Visit?
We think its time, it has been 10 years since we saw our friends in the US, we have never been to see my sister and niece in Canada and we long to go back to IHOP and visit Bethel. We hope that this year we will fly to North America, see friends and go get some good spiritual input. We feel like we need it after 7 years pioneering in Malawi and 12+ years in full time ministry. If your in North America and you want to hang out, we would love to try & connect!

Prayer Focus
In this new season of our work in Malawi we need to pray together that the new leadership teams for YWAM in Blantyre and across Southern Malawi grow and develop. We have been the primary leaders for 7 years and so over the past year we have been identifying and training 2 teams of leaders to move YWAM in Southern Malawi and in Blantyre into the next season. Our vision has been that at the end of 10 years YWAM in Blantyre would be a self sustaining prayer and missions base, lead by an international team with Malawians at its core. We are 7 years in and so have 3 years more to see this vision manifested. Its not that we want to leave Malawi, but that we want to be fruitful, we believe that the good fruit of our years of training and discipleship should mean that the leaders here mature in their gifts and begin to direct the work more and more, together with other leaders who God is sending to the community. So a leadership transition is underway and transitions can be tricky and take a lot of wisdom to instigate and discernment to navigate lovingly and successfully. Please can you pray with us that as a team we would graduate into the next stage of development that God has for us as a community. looking forward to seeing you soon.
With great love and grace
Daniel Suzy Ben & Beth
