What is a Mobile Adventure Playground?

Bring your children and grand children to the City's Mobile Adventure Playground at SECA's Stampede Breakfast. It is a loose parts play experience.
Loose parts, including cardboard boxes, fabric, wood, corrugated piping, rope and more will be provided. Trained Play Ambassadors will support the experience.

With loose parts, children enjoy a rich play experience. They have the freedom to choose what each item will be and how it will function, and along the way, they practice creativity and imagination, problem solving, co-operations and communication.

Interested in future children's programs?
At the Adventure Playground we'll be inviting parents to sign up to receive program updates for children up to 12 years of age. We are planning both informal meet ups and structured programs. If you can't attend but you want to get on the list, please email

Can you help out?
Can you contribute to creating a playful community where kids enjoy regular outdoor active play? We would like to form a committee to coordinate this work. Please use the "play" email address above if you are able to get involved.
