John O'Donohue View this email in your browser LUMINOUS ROOM was selected for an Award of Excellence by Dave Bown Projects - one of six awarded to artists from over 40 countries - by Kelly Kivland, curator at the DIA Art Foundation and Helga Christoffersen, curator at New Museum, New York. Kivland describes the piece as "...a floor-to-ceiling grid installation of golden horsehair strands that speaks to the impossibility of measuring our fragility...". Luminous Room 7 x 7 x10' horse hair, thread, cable PREDATOR was selected by Bradley Sumrall of the Odgen Museum of Southern Art for second place in the inaugural triennial exhibition of Virginia artists at the Taubman Museum of Art.   REMEMBERING AWE is title of both a film project about my work and an article about the same work written by Sarah Sargent.
