The Farm Maps have Arrived!
Savour the flavour of fresh, local fare! The 7th edition of the Buy Local! Buy Fresh! Cowichan Farm Map (BLBF) is here! Spanning Shawnigan Lake to south of Nanaimo, this annual guide has been helping Cowichan residents and visitors to the region, search out Cowichan-grown food, drink, and value-added products since its inception. Click here to view the online map.
2016 CSA's & CSF's
Each year, CGC is asked to put together a list of Cowichan-based Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs and harvest box initiatives. Accordingly, we have compiled a brief listing of the CSA and box programs that we are aware of. This list of fifteen businesses retails products as diverse as garden and farm produce, seafood, and flowers. Happy eating! Click here to read the full list.
