TUGG EDU FILMS IN THE NEWS

LANDFILL HARMONIC at the NCTE Conference

Tugg Edu's beautiful and uplifting documentary LANDFILL HARMONIC has been accepted at the NCTE Conference in November. The film follows the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, a Paraguayan musical group that plays instruments made entirely out of garbage.

Additionally, ADA'S VIOLIN by Susan Hood has recently been published by Simon and Schuster. A nonfiction picture book, it tells the true story of the Recycled Orchestra and works as a stunning companion piece to LANDFILL HARMONIC. Collage illustrations are done by Sally Wern Comport, and the book is available in both English and Spanish. Find out more at SusanHoodBooks.com

SALAM NEIGHBOR & AFTER SPRING at the MESA Film Festival

Likewise, our films SALAM NEIGHBOR and AFTER SPRING will also be playing at a conference this November, the MESA Film Festival. Both titles focus on life at the largest Syrian refugee camp, Zaatari, getting personal stories from those who live in the camp.

These titles are available on DVD, 1-year, 3-year or life of file streaming, or through a subscription to Tugg EVOD. Please contact us with any questions.
