Dear Music Lovers,
Being President of the Newark Symphony Orchestra is a great honor. I am also an associate professor of biology at the University of Delaware and frequently draw analogies between what I do outside my profession with my career in biology.
The blood of the Newark Symphony ....(read the full annual appeal letter here)
This year we have a unique opportunity presented to us by the Delaware Division of the Arts, one of our major granting organizations. In their annual grant to the NSO, DDOA will match the amount of private and corporate donations we raise between October 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. During this three-month campaign, for every dollar contributed, the DDOA will increase our FY2020 grant by the same amount up to $25,000. You and the DDOA will infuse the NSO with great health; your contribution this year will have double the impact it has in the past!
We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are! Thank you so much for your support in helping the orchestra thrive and grow to our fullest potential.
Jack Bartley, President, NSO Board of Directors
Newark Symphony Orchestra is very grateful to be a DDOA grant recipient for over 19 years!
