Eileen Grycky, associate professor of flute at the University of Delaware, received the University’s Excellence in Teaching Award in 1999. She performs with two ensembles-in-residence at the University: the Christiana Winds and the Taggart-Grycky Flute and Guitar Duo. She is a member of the orchestra of the Opera Company of Philadelphia and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO). In addition, she maintains a busy performing and recording schedule with Brandywine Baroque, a noted period instrument ensemble based in Wilmington, Delaware.
Wesley J. Broadnax is in his first year as Associate Professor of Music/Director of Bands at the University of Northern Colorado (Greeley, CO), where he conducts the Wind Ensemble, Chamber Winds, and guides all aspects of the wind band and graduate wind conducting programs. Prior to his appoint at UNC, he held similar appointments at Drexel University, University of Delaware, California State University-East Bay, and Michigan State University. He is also Assistant Conductor of the Newark Symphony Orchestra (Delaware).
