Foundation Invited To Palm Springs California USA to join Free Wheelchair Mission Fundraiser

Along with only 2 other international wheelchair distributors (Jordan & Mexico) the Foundation's own Don Willcox was recently honored to share his 26 year hands-on overview of providing thousands of free mobility aids to grassroots folks in SE Asia who cannot walk.  A three day gathering of some 140 compassionate, extraordinary and major business and private donors who support Free Wheelchair Mission raised nearly a half million dollars to continue and expand this life-affirming outreach that Foundations like ours (and so many others) around the globe depend upon as we continue to provide free wheelchairs to those in need.  As of March 2016 Free Wheelchair Mission had already donated more than 900,000 free wheelchairs in countries all around the world.

A complete transformation
In addition to our distribution of free wheelchairs our Foundation has also embarked upon providing disabled-accessible toilets and showers to replace primitive inaccessible outhouses.

Above 6 photos illustrate part of a recent 54 mobility aid donation c/o a Mae Sai Thailand disabled club (30 wheelchair and 24 tricycle carts)  Mae Sai is on the Thai northern border adjacent to Burma. The 14 year old in the white wheelchair (upper right) is from Tachilek Burma where wheelchairs are scarce.  We were delighted to extend our outreach into Burma.
Thalidomide left 56 year old Nor Kaew of Raburi, Thailand without feet or hands at birth.
Our Foundation recently gave her a tricycle cart which provides her with mobility.
Please help us help others by supporting our work.

We expect another wheelchair container in October and need funds for container land transport.
Thank you
