What is knowledge? CTA - 30 years of change, a fresh look at agriculture

CTA at 30

An update on the 'Knowledge Is' Anniversary campaign

2014 has been a great year for agriculture. With the African Union Year of Agriculture and the UN International Year of Family Farming, there has never been a better time to engage communities and stakeholders and amplify the voices of everyone along the value chain, especially smallholder farmers. To mark CTA's 30th Anniversary, we have been busy capturing some of the successes we have had with our partners over three decades, as well as looking to the future at what challenges lie ahead. Find our what we have discovered.

Looking to the future
Anniversaries are not just about reflecting on the past, but offer a great opportunity to look to what the future might be. We asked several well-known people in the agriculture and rural development sector what they see as the main challenges facing agriculture and what CTA could do to help. Voices include Ministers of Agriculture, representatives of regional farmers’ organisations and international organisations. Watch now.
