Get Your Flash On: Librarian Paparazzi

The Membership and Communications Committee are joining forces to host an exhibit booth at the MLA Annual Conference called “Get Your Flash On: Librarian Paparazzi.” Just follow the red carpet to our booth where you can have a professional photo taken and/or participate in MLA’s first rock video!
Photo booth
We know how difficult it can be to choose a photo to use for your professional networking accounts. We’ll be hosting a free photo booth at the MLA Annual Conference so you can get that perfect profile picture while you’re already looking your professional best. You will receive a digital copy that you can use for LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., and you will have the opportunity to upload your photo to your MLA website account on the spot. Stop by and get your flash on!
Video interviews
MLA would love to create videos that will help us share the awesomeness of our libraries and our conference with the rest of the world. We would like volunteers to answer one or two of these questions:
  • What rocks at your library?
  • What’s rocked your library world today?
We are also planning to create a shoe montage, so if you’re feeling shy about a quick interview, please stop by to share your style. From sensible to sassy, we want to display the full range of librarian-cool. So, are you ready for your close-up?
