All Around The World
A Message From Our Principal:

May 23, 2019

Dear ISL Families,                                                                 It is hard to believe we are only a couple of weeks away from the last day of school. Throughout this year we took every opportunity to provide a thriving learning environment for our students, to reflect, and to improve our professional practices so we may be able to serve to the best of our abilities. We value and thank you for trusting us in this process. Muchas Gracias, Merci, Thank You!

We celebrated special moments and achievements that filled our hearts with pride and helped to bring our community together. We have built memories that will remain with us for many years to come. I believe communication is the first step to ensure success. I thank you for communicating regularly with our teaching and support staff so we may support them academically, emotionally, and socially, at school.

This time of the year can be bittersweet for us. Some of our students and staff are preparing for new opportunities, challenges, and adventures. To the families of our students who are moving on, we wish you the very best and thank you for being part of our school. We also would like to wish our staff a farewell!

  • At Dixon: Ms. Vanessa Decesare, Ms. Alma Messies-Poche and Ms. Sonia Blasco Vileta will return to their home countries. Ms. Stefanie Loeb (Art) and Ms. Chastity Williams (PE) will also be leaving ISL to explore new opportunities.

  • At the Westbank Campus, Ms. Paula Escoda and Francisco Aboy Santos will be returning to Spain and Ms. Laura Romero will be transferring to the Dixon Campus for the 2019-20 academic year.

Thank you for all of your hard work and for being instrumental in the education of our students, at ISL. We wish them the very best and we hope to see you soon!
