Westbank Campus

The mission of the International School of Louisiana is to provide a challenging education emphasizing language immersion, international awareness, the celebration of diversity and community responsibility.

Dear ISL Families,

It is that time of year again! We are collecting beads for our Mardi Gras parade. Just a friendly reminder that we will only be able to receive beads that are sorted. Please feel free to bring the beads to the front office, Mrs. Jen., or Ms. Caroline.

The theme for this year's Mardi Gras parade is “A Rainbow of Diversity”: we are going to be COLORFUL!!! Each grade level OR class will choose a color and then coordinate costumes in that color, so look for that information to come home from the classroom. We are going to be a gorgeous rainbow of diversity!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Kristen Jensen
Family Liaison

Everyday during dismissal time including aftercare programs, please be mindful of your conversations with children who are not your own.  Please remember that it is ISL policy that parents should never address another parent’s child directly. Any concerns should be brought to staff or administration and allow us to address the situation. ISL or Community Works staff are always available to have a conversation.
