Dear CIMAM Member,
One of the priorities of this newly elected Board has been to evaluate the different candidates for the upcoming CIMAM Annual Conferences 2014–2016. An online vote took place among the members of CIMAM's Board and the candidates who have obtained most votes for each of the Annual Conferences are:
CIMAM 2014 → Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, Doha, Qatar
CIMAM 2015 → Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, Japan
CIMAM 2016 → MACBA, Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Spain
The Annual Conferences will take place in the month of November. CIMAM will also be participating at ICOM 2016 Annual Meeting in Milan with a representative delegation.
CIMAM's mission is to propose an international professional debate in the regions developing institutional dynamics and intense activities with a clear impact on the global art system.
We are currently working on the topics that are most urgent to CIMAM's Members and pertinent to each of the regions in which the conferences will take place in order to propose informed, enriched and excellence programs throughout the next three years.
We hope these programs will be of your interest and count on your active implication.
