*** NEW ***  National Youth Assembly Planning Weekend
5-7 February, Arbroath

Get involved with the planning for the NYA 2016, whether you've attended a previous event or not.  Open to anyone aged 17+ with an interest in NYA, and it's FREE to attend.

*** NEW ***  GA Presbytery Youth Reps
Nominations are being invited for those aged 18-25 to become Presbytery Youth Reps to the General Assembly in May 2016.  Nomination forms need to be completed and sent to Presbytery Clerks by 1 February 2016.  Each presbytery can have one youth rep – make sure yours has one!

*** NEW ***  Community of Faith conference
This day conference - held in different locations across Scotland - will explore new and exciting ideas, and will resource and inspire ministry in congregations that have few or no children and young people. 
The day will start at 9.30am for registration, and run from 10am - 4pm.

Nicola Whyte is M&D’s new Congregational Learning Development Worker, based at ‘121’. Previously Associate for Christian Education and Pastoral Care at Morningside Parish Church, she has varied experience of working with people of all ages across the Church of Scotland and beyond.
Her role is to support and stimulate Christian learning and development of those involved with our congregations to enable them for faithful

The Committee on Church Art & Architecture
Any alteration to the exterior or interior of a Church building that affects its appearance must be referred to CARTA for approval, preferably at an early stage.  Please complete the General Application Form in the first instance.
CARTA also advises congregations and presbyteries regarding the most appropriate way of carrying out renovations, alterations and reordering of interiors, along with the installation of stained glass, tapestries, memorials, furniture and furnishings. Ask CARTA or check out their Quick Guides.

Learning Disabilities Working Group

Go For It Fund

 Small Grants of up to £5000 and Main Grants of up to £45,000
over three years are available.
Bookings are now open for this year's final event:

and will be available in early January.
