Advent Reflections
At 6pm every day during advent there will be a short reflection put on the NYA facebook page.  Through these the NYA youth reps will be sharing what Advent means to them as young adults with faith.  Do join them as we journey through advent preparing to celebrate the birth of Christ.
NYA 2017 Planning Weekend
3-5 February 2017

If you’d like to be involved in the planning of NYA 2017 please book now for our planning weekend 3-5 February 2017 at the Windmill Christian Centre in Arbroath.  It’s free to attend but bookings close 16 December 2016.

Community of Faith Paid Worker's Conference
8-10 March 2017

A conference for those who are paid to work with and minister to children and young people in the church.  The theme will be faith formation, with time set aside to share good practice in small learning communities.  In particular we will think about worship, the bible, intergenerational ministry and leadership, exploring some of the latest research and thinking in these areas.

GA 2017 Presbytery Youth Reps
Nominations are being invited for those aged 18-25 to become Presbytery Youth Reps to the General Assembly in May 2017. Nomination forms need to be completed and sent to Presbytery Clerks by 1 February 2017.  Each presbytery can have one youth rep – make sure yours has one!

Rural Working Group - New Banners

We have created four new banners to be used at events all over the nation. The simple banners say ‘Church in a community near you’ and display beautiful images of rural Scotland. If you would like to borrow a banner for your event please contact Wayne Morris.
Place for Hope
Place for Hope accompanies and equips people and faith communities so that all might reach their potential to be peacemakers who navigate conflict well. 

They provide training, workshops and resources for understanding and working with conflict as well as hosting and navigating difficult conversations.
