  2. ACEF Partners with IChemE. This year the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) will be an official partner of ACEF 2016.
  3. Deep Dive Workshops and Technical Seminars. This year at ACEF, we will once again be featuring a wide variety of Deep Dive Workshops and Technical Seminars. You can learn more and see the latest schedule here.
Call for Abstracts Deadline Reminder
The Call for Abstracts for ACEF 2016 is STILL OPEN. The deadline for submissions is this Friday 25 March at 17:00 Manila time (+8 GMT). If you are interested in speaking about your work and initiatives at this year’s forum, please visit our website and submit your abstract as soon as possible. Submissions are short (no more than 150 words), and can address any of a range of topics across the four thematic tracks, Innovations in Energy Efficiency; Innovations in Renewable Energy; Increasing Energy Access; and Charting the Future of Clean Energy in Asia. Additional details, including the full list of topics and the submission form, can be found here.

ACEF is Partnering with IChemE
ACEF 2016 is proud to announce that Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is an official partner of the Forum this year. IChemE is the global professional membership organization for chemical engineering professionals. With over 44,000 members in over 120 countries, IChemE is the only organization that awards the internationally-recognized qualifications of Chartered Chemical Engineer and Professional Process Safety Engineer.  We look forward to fostering this partnership with ACEF during the event and beyond.

Deep Dive Workshops and Technical Seminars
ACEF this year will feature 18 pre-forum events that include Deep Dive Workshops and Technical Seminars on Monday and Tuesday of ACEF week (6-7 June 2016). The main forum will be on Wednesday through Friday, and will be a larger discussion, including plenaries, sessions in 4 thematic tracks, and a knowledge networking session to encourage cross fertilization among ACEF participants.

Each DDW is sponsored by an organization or consortium of organizations.  The DDWs provide a chance for in-depth discussion around specific topics or challenges, over the course of a half-day or full-day workshop. The DDWs can take the form of in-depth working discussions, interactive panels, training sessions, and other exciting formats. Technical Seminars are typically shorter in duration (90 minutes or half a day) and are focused less on brainstorming and problem solving, and more on sharing information on important technical issues and developments in the clean energy and climate field. For the full list of DDWs and Technical Seminars at this year’s Forum, click here. You can also download the complete schedule for the DDWs and other Pre-Forum events here. Participants can register for the DDWs and Technical Seminars when registering for ACEF 2016 here.
