Dear Friends and Supporters,
Merry Christmas and happy holidays on behalf of Rainbow Riders and our new Raise It Up campaign.

We are happy to introduce Raise It Up during the holiday season, a time when we are reminded of the blessings in our lives and the joy of giving. And in that spirit, we invite you to join us in giving something that will last well beyond the season.

For over two decades, Rainbow Riders has offered therapeutic riding programs to young people with cognitive and physical disabilities. Through these programs, young people build their physical strength and confidence and make connections with horses, other riders and with a broader community. Above all, they have the chance to think beyond disability and to dream of pursuing their passions and being all they can be. Again and again, we hear from them stories of freedom and accomplishment.

In spite of all this success, Rainbow Riders now faces a great challenge. Its aging infrastructure can no longer support its programs; new facilities are urgently needed to meet needs that have grown with the recognition of the value of therapeutic riding. That’s why we’re launching Raise It Up, a special capital campaign to provide Rainbow Riders’ many students with a new, fully accessible and modern therapeutic riding centre.
Take a moment to watch our video or view our photo gallery and you will see what Rainbow Riders means to the children in its programs. I was truly inspired to get involved, and I think you will be too. What an incredible gift we will give when we Raise It Up together!

Magical Connections Start Here

“Children with disabilities find themselves on the outside looking in. Rainbow Riders allows these children to get their hands dirty and be part of something that’s exciting and unique. Riding is what Nathan loves; the horse becomes his legs!”

More programs for more students!

The new therapeutic riding centre will allow Rainbow Riders to offer more programs for more students year round. The waiting list is long. What better gift could you give this year than the opportunity for a child to experience the freedom of riding through a field with the wind in their hair and the feeling that dreams can come true!
