Oh don’t ask why! For if we don’t find the next whisky bar, I tell you we must die! Ubu’s back in town. Join Ubu, Jenny, Polly, Lucy and their friends, this Friday for an evening at Brecht’s Whisky Bar in The Gym, the Arts Centre. It’s not all whisky though, we also have beer, wine and songs. Fatted calves are already being slaughtered for your masticating pleasure. But you must have dollars at the door. Three pennies won’t cut it. Oh, you know why! We ran a workshop in the weekend with students from Waimate High School, exploring Laban and Kagel. If students at a school you know are interested in a similar workshop let us know, we'd love to do it. We are also running free mask and puppet workshops in the Christchurch East area. These are supported by CCC's Kids2Town initiative and with funding from The Trusts Community Foundation. If we haven't been in contact with you already, please let us know if you've got some students who might be interested in this.
