There is a lot happening in The Gym! Back by popular demand – journey down the rabbit hole and join Ubu and his friends (Tom Waits and The Beatles) in Wonderland at The Gym for this Friday's Ubu in Wonderland. You never know where you'll end up. Enjoy special tea and Mock Turtle Soup with the Mad Hatter while escaping the fury of the Red Queen and listening to the woeful tunes of Humpty Dumpty. The White Rabbit is sure to appear and the Cheshire Cat will tell you exactly where to go. We're all mad here!
PechaKucha Night Christchurch volume 25will be held in The Gym the following Friday 30th October. Ubu is very excited to be hosting the event, expect the pataphysical. Tickets always sell fast!
Another great collaboration to look forward to is ConversatioNZ South Cook up in The Gym on Monday 2nd November. Nine South Island chefs and seven wineries are joining together for an exciting and unique dinner in Christchurch. The South’s exceptional food and wine will be celebrated for one night only. We're thrilled to be hosting with these guys and delighted by what they're bringing to the Arts Centre. See theirwebsitefor more info and to book for the event.
On the subject of beautiful food, thanks to the Canterbury Cheesemongers last week, for their delicious and sold out Raclette and Fondue evening in The Gym hosted by T'Nealle, Sarah from the Cheesemongers, Alex Davies and Aliesha Mcgilligan.
