We held our GBM at Qualcomm!!! After nearly TWO years of virtual GBMs we had the opportunity to meet in person for a GBM. Qualcomm was kind enough to host us. They shared who, what and why they do ALL they are good at. Attendance was great and I am sure there was plenty of individuals who benefitted from this particular meeting.

Oceanside High School SHPE Jr. Chapter: SHPE San Diego Professional Chapter in collaboration with LATINX-GA hosted a tour of General Atomics-ASI facilty!! We had a great turnout and Oceanside High SHPE Jr. Chapter members learned valuable information.

Hola!!! The month of May 2022 has been extremely busy with activity in our SHPE San Diego chapter!! We are revving up for our 40th Annual Banquet...but really it is a Gala!!! It will take place on Friday 24th, June 2022.

Our chapter is strong!!! Much support from the professional community as well as the student chapters is visible!!

As we enter June 2022, I want to wish "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!" to all our members who embrace that title. You deserve the recognition from us for ALL the hard work you do!!! This title also goes to all those single parents who embody the double duty. Gracias!!

Once again, I hope you give yourself a chance to really live and believe in the core values of SHPE; FAMILIA, SERVICE, EDUCATION & RESILIENCE!!!

Whatever your opinion is about how things are going we are here to support and be together...because we are stronger if we unite!!

We have NILA 2022 coming up. This will have two parts, one will be virtual and for Presidents you will be going to Orlando if your schedule permits.

We would like to hear your opinion as a professional... "HOW CAN WE SERVE YOU?" What would you like to see that would help and give you confidence to join us (SHPE SD)? Please send your response or comments to email: President@shpesd.org

NILA 2022 Coming up

The 2022 National Institute for Leadership Advancement (NILA) offers a valuable opportunity for SHPE's volunteer leaders to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to be successful, certified chapter leaders.

The 2022 conference will be held in two parts. If you expect to be a chapter or regional leader for 2022-2023, please plan to attend.

Regional leaders* and chapter presidents are expected to attend both conferences.

Please register ASAP in order to receive the SHPE Chapter Leader Workbook prior to the event!

If you are a recent graduating student with a bachelors, please take your 1 FREE year Professional SHPE membership and join SHPE San Diego Professional.
