Join the Brave Movement Global Day of Action to demand G7 leaders act to end childhood sexual violence
Sexual violence against children is happening now, in silence, in every nation around the world. It’s happening in family homes, sports teams, schools, places of worship and online. It knows no borders. Ending this pressing human rights issue is essential for all humanity and demands a coordinated international response. That’s why the Brave Movement is calling on the leaders of the G7 to take the lead on bold action to end childhood sexual violence when they meet for the G7 Summit at the end of June.
To ensure world leaders prioritize this issue ahead of the Summit, the Brave Movement is hosting a Global Day of Action on June 9. During this day, survivors and allies from across the world will make their voices heard and demand that G7 leaders prioritize prevention, healing and justice.

3. ADVOCATE TO YOUR LEADERS
Speak to ambassadors and parliamentarians in your country using messaging in this toolkit and get them to support the calls for the G7 leaders to take action.
If you are in the United States, join the Keep Kids Safe virtual candlelight vigil on June 9 as part of the Global Day of Action. During the event, which will be livestreamed on the Keep Kids Safe Facebook page starting at 10 am EDT, you can light a “virtual candle” in the comments section of the livestream post to honor survivors of childhood sexual violence and pressure G7 leaders to act now. If you are in the DC area, you can join the vigil in person in front of the White House to show your support.
