Its also helpful for us to know if certain advisors are no longer at your campus, so please take a moment to log into your Advisor portal and look at the list of your institution's Gilman Advisors under the Advisor tab, and let us know if someone needs to be removed.
Did you know? Advisors can sign up to be considered as a Gilman Selection Panelist by completing the Selection Panel Interest form under the Outreach tab within the advisor portal. Selection panelists are vital to the success of the Gilman Program. As a panelist, advisors gain more insight into the Gilman Scholarship selection process, helping to provide even better feedback to students on campus who apply.
Finally, you can review all of your institution's current and past Gilman recipients, applicants, and active Gilman advisors by visiting the appropriate tabs within the Advisor Portal. If you see an advisor listed who you know is no longer with your institution, please let us know. Updating this information will ensure that inactive advisors no longer appear for students to select in their application and can help eliminate confusion as students complete their applications. All new advisors need to register their advisor account through our portal. Once they submit their registration they will get an email back from us letting them know when they are activated in our system.
