While cardiologists at the American College of Cardiology annual meeting debated the new guidelines for statins, our friend Dr. Robert Ostfeld presented a case of a man who reversed debilitating heart disease with a plant-based diet alone. The man in the study, who was in such bad shape he had trouble walking, now jogs two miles. The Boston Globe said Dr. Ostfeld's case study was "dramatic." We hope the attendees were sufficiently impressed with this far safer and more effective treatment of heart disease.
