14 Day Blanket Drive for the Mustard Seed
As a community, we want to step up and help. The Mustard seed let us know that, "with the disruption of various services around the city, our street community guests are struggling to stay clean and dry."

Please consider donating your spare blankets.  Please wash them, bag them and drop them off at the Secondary School.  During business hours you can place them safely between the two sets of double doors.  If you can't make it to the school, please let us know and we'll arrange for a pickup (  Drop off your blankets by Thursday, May 14.

Are you feeling IN or OUT of "the loop"?
As we made plans for remote learning, one of the cautions we received from other jurisdictions was to be careful about not bombarding parents (and students) with email. We heard stories of parents receiving over 100 emails per week when they combined the notifications from all of their children's teachers. We did not want to do that to you!

But, if you are feeling out of the loop, here are some possible actions:

1) We encourage you to look at the Google Classrooms with your child(ren) so that you have an understanding of the layout and the learning activities that are there.

2) In Google Classroom, you can be connected to your child(ren) and then have the option to receive daily or weekly summaries of the announcements, activities, and assignments in all of their classes. These summaries can be a bit overwhelming, as they include all classes. But, you can opt out of receiving them if you'd like, or simply be mindful of how much attention you give to all the information. If you are not yet connected this way, you will likely receive an invitation in the next few days. If you don't, please contact the secondary office and we can get you connected.

3) Reach out to the teachers. We hope the Term 3 report has provided you with an update of what is happening, but if you have any questions, please reach out.
Student Transcript Service
Students in grades 10- 12 often want to check their BC Ministry of Education School
Transcript.  Attached is some information about accessing transcripts with the Ministry of Education.
This transcript includes all the courses completed between grades 10 – 12 and is the
official record for BC graduation program credits.
