After a gap of almost nine months, I am pleased that UP TO RAWDON is online with a bright new look and lay out that was achieved, over the past few weeks, under the guidance by Wesley Johnson of North Bay, Ontario. I am excited to be sending out news of our Rawdon families once again and I hope that you will like the redesign as much as I do. You will find we have made some name changes in the menu that runs across the top of the page but the same content is there, reorganized with drop down boxes that are clear and will be easy to use.
What’s New announces the corrections and additions recently made to the Text Updates file and mentions what has been added in Photo Updates. The previous ones available by scrolling down.
Beside them is Additional Material a new drop-down box that contains three files: Rawdon and Kildare Research and Supplementary information about families and Contents, Search, Reviews. This page has the option to search the Table of Contents and Reviews by word. Some reviews of UP TO RAWDON also pop up on the home page.
The last item in the menu bar is More which contains Rawdon Yesterday & Today and Links to sites that may be helpful in your research.
My plan, hereafter, is to make additions and corrections and add photos as they arrive and will point these out in a letter, probably twice a year, and so you will probably hear from me next Easter season. You can tell if changes have been made since October by checking the date on the Text Updates page. As always, I will I appreciate hearing from you and respond promptly to your email.
Belated greetings for Canadian Thanksgiving, which is just past, and looking forward to American Thanksgiving and the Christmas and New Years’ seasons that are around the corner.
