After 10 years of painting the Maleny creek, David Paulson's new exhibition re-explores and re-connects with interest in the figure and the human condition. Drawing Back includes life drawing, self portraits and complex figure studies on canvas and paper.
Gloria Petyarre's original bush medicine leaves, her classic design derived from the Kurrajong tree found in her Atnangkere country, are the subject of this exhibition. Leaves features detailed small scale works as well as larger broad brush examples in a vibrant array of colours and formats painted between 2003 and 2011.
